To The Ends of The World focuses on our commission as Christians to make more disciples. There is no doubt that Paul was challenged to see the Gospel preached to the entire world. So, today, we are also challenged by a bigger world and more ears to preach to.Chad and Amanda start with a macro approach to mission work in general and how we can preach the Gospel to the entire world in our lifetime. Each chapter continues to build upon the preceding chapters as each chapter becomes more detailed, moving to the specific mission Chad and Amanda are currently engaged on in Kisii, Kenya. This book is a must read for those who are supporting missions and implementing evangelism. There is a real vision to be grasped with much to be accomplished if congregations would come together to carry out the great commission exemplified in the New Testament. This book is designed to be a 13 week Bible class with free teaching materials available on their website (www.chadnamanda.com/study). Further, this book serves as an orientation guide to those going to east Africa and certainly Kenya. The last three chapters end with 52 devotionals written by Kenyans to encourage you weekly for one year. Chad and Amanda are high school sweethearts. They obeyed the Gospel while attending the University of South Alabama. After they graduated from nursing school, Chad continued his education earning a Masters degree in Theology from Amridge University. Chad and Amanda have two boys, Koen and Mostyn.Chad has preached the Gospel in 7 countries in the past 8 years. Currently, he serves as the Missionary in Residence for Gold Hill Road Church of Christ and is working in Kenya with a goal of evangelizing east Africa, and then to "To The Ends of The World."
